If you need to change the franchise for a single part, instead of using the Change Part Number or Alternate Supplier to Franchise functions, there is a System Option to allow for this.

Under System, click System Options.

In the General Settings, ensure Allow Franchise Code Changes is ticked.
Now you are able to change the franchise when editing a part.
If you do not have access to the System Options, your management or admin team should be able to complete this for you.
